About ぶんべつビート
ぶんべつビート (Bunbetsu Beat, “sorting beat”) is a free 3D rhythm game for the browser. In a recycling centre of the near future, ソータ, the sorting robot, faces a conveyor belt of rubbish that reaches the judgement line exactly on the beat; at that moment you press left, right, down or up (or flick on a phone) to throw it into the right bin: burnable rubbish, plastic, cans and bottles, or PET bottles. Over four stages the bins increase, the song gains layers and robot friends gather to watch; in the last stage chicks and cats come down the belt too, and the right move is to let them pass. Timing is judged as PERFECT (±60 ms) or GOOD (±130 ms), every 10 combo raises the score multiplier, 30 combo starts an eight-bar fever with double points, and misses drain an eco gauge that ends the round at zero (except on Easy). A round lasts about 90 seconds, with three difficulty levels, a timing-offset setting for Bluetooth earphones and a results screen with accuracy per type. The README notes that sorting rules differ by municipality and the game uses its own. The README credits planning and direction to たぬ (tanuu5) and development to Claude Code with Claude Opus 5.5 at the HIGH reasoning level, which implemented and tested the game from a written spec; the 3D shapes, music and sound effects are all made in code. In Japanese, free on the developer's GitHub Pages site with keyboard, mouse or touch; the code is MIT-licensed.
How it was built
VerifiedThe README credits planning and direction to たぬ and development to Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5, reasoning level HIGH), and says Claude Code implemented and tested the game from the spec document (仕様書.md) in the order: timing and judgement foundation, the whole of play, sound, visuals, then screens and finishing. All timing follows a single Web Audio clock from which item positions and judgements are computed every frame; the chart, judgement, scoring and flick handling are separated from graphics and sound and checked with node --test. The watching robot friends were the planner's idea during playtesting and were added to the spec before being built.
- DeveloperDeveloper's note post of 3 Oct 2026: five browser works, including ぶんべつビート, made with Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) between 29 Sep and 1 Oct 2026 and published on GitHub. — note (たぬ / tank_ai)
Planned and directed by one developer from a written spec, with Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5, HIGH) implementing and testing it in stages. Plain ES modules with no build step; three.js r180 is loaded from jsDelivr, and the 3D shapes are assembled in code while the music and sound effects are synthesised with the Web Audio API (the melodies are original to the game). Core logic (chart, judgement, scoring, flick) has unit tests run with node --test, and URL parameters provide seeds, a debug overlay and an auto-play mode for checking.

- Developer's note post on five browser games made in three days (Japanese)
Verification notes: Credits, rules, controls, technology, licence and the update history (published 29 Sep 2026; fix on 2 Oct 2026) come from the developer's repository README, read through raw.githubusercontent.com on 5 Nov 2026; the README links the play address, which loaded that day. The tool and the making period come from the developer's note post of 3 Oct 2026 (published 23:50 JST), which describes the game as one of five works made between 29 Sep and 1 Oct 2026. The taxonomy has no rhythm genre, so the game is filed under arcade and casual. The interface text is Japanese only; a comment in the game's text file says English may be added later. The page's scripts load only three.js from jsDelivr and call no AI services. The repository's stars and commit history were not checked (github.com was not reachable from our checker). Team size and location are not stated.
