Dreadnaught
Survive waves of zombies on the Moon with upgrades, shops and a flamethrower.
Official site dontdie.wtf, verified Nov 3, 2026. Entry URL submitted by the entrant (X handle _maxblade) in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data. The game page itself has no credits or links to a developer page.
Rights holder / original work: Pieter Levels (levelsio) — name
The entrant's official jam pitch says the player survives waves of “Zombie Levelsio”, a name that refers to the jam's organiser, Pieter Levels (levelsio); the main zombie model's texture file is named “levels1”. The game's own text does not use the name, and we could not tell whether the zombie model resembles Pieter Levels. No source mentions permission from Pieter Levels. (Vibe Jam)

About Dreadnaught
A first-person wave shooter on the Moon. Zombies come in waves and “evolve” as the rounds go on, with bigger mutants joining later; between waves you pick upgrades such as faster movement, a bigger magazine, faster reloads or more damage, smash glowing rocks for cash, and spend it at billboard shops on items such as a laser gun and an overshield. A flamethrower turns up as a pickup, and a voiced guide called Alice comments on your progress. The entrant's pitch says you survive waves of “Zombie Levelsio” attacking you on the Moon, naming the jam's organiser, and gives Call of Duty's zombie mode, “but space themed”, as the inspiration. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the submission lists Claude Code as the tool. It finished 47th of 945 entries. Free in the browser; the submission marks it as not made for mobile.
How it was built
VerifiedIn the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Claude Code as the tool and answers Yes to the AI-written field. No devlog describes how Claude Code was used or which model ran it, and the submission covers the jam version only.
- OfficialJam rule 3: at least 90% of the code has to be written by AI. — Vibe Jam (Pieter Levels)
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 on Three.js with plain JavaScript modules, with Claude Code named as the tool, and submitted on the deadline day. The two enemy models' files name Tripo, an AI 3D-model generator, as their generator, so those assets appear to be AI-made; the developer does not say so.

Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine, genre, pitch, inspiration and the mobile flag (No) from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 1 May 2026 at 13:16 UTC, the deadline day; final rank 47 of 945 entries, no award); rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. Attribution rests on the jam data alone: the entrant is the X handle _maxblade, and the game page has no credits or links. The name Max Blade is the display name of that X profile (@_MaxBlade), read through a public X mirror on 4 Nov 2026; its bio links cnvs.dev, a vibe-coding app, and neither the profile nor cnvs.dev links the game. Team size and location are not stated. Gameplay details (waves, evolving zombies, upgrade choices, rock smashing, billboard shops, flamethrower, the guide Alice) from the game page and its scripts. The name “Zombie Levelsio” appears only in the pitch; the game's own text does not use it. The main zombie model's texture is named “levels1”, but its texture sheet does not let us tell whether the model resembles Pieter Levels. Both enemy model files carry “Tripo” as generator. The code includes optional touch joysticks, but the submission says the game is not mobile-ready, so only desktop browsers are listed. The game's code talks only to its own files and the jam widget; no calls to AI services were found, and Alice's lines are fixed recordings with fixed subtitles. The jam page's widget counter showed 405 plays on 4 Nov 2026 (observed; sessions, not players or downloads, so not recorded as a metric). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 1 May 2026.
