About PatchWork60
PatchWork60 is a short, wordless puzzle game set on a museum wall. Three paintings hang there, each remade as a patchwork collage of fabric, paper and mosaic, and each comes apart when you step up to it; you have sixty seconds, shown by the frame burning down around the picture, to put it right. In The Starry Night (after Van Gogh) you tap each spinning star as its knot passes a gold window at twelve o'clock, in The Great Wave (after Hokusai) you drag woodblock plates back into register on their marks, and in the Mona Lisa (after Leonardo da Vinci) you turn rings of mosaic tiles until the portrait is whole. Every piece is a timed check with a few tries; the closer you land, the higher you score, with up to three laurels per painting. There is no text in the game, as the jam's No Text restriction required. It plays in a desktop or phone browser with mouse, touch, keyboard or gamepad, and has reduced-motion, high-contrast, larger-interface, caption and haptics options. The developer, Jacob Alan Strange (StrangeBoltz), made it in Unity 6 for Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 3 (theme: Great Works of Art). The page's AI disclosure says the code, art and sound were written, generated and tuned with Claude Code, directed and playtested by the developer, and that the paintings are drawn by code from public-domain originals rather than traced. How it was built
Partially verifiedThe AI disclosure on the itch.io page, repeated as the answer to “How did you use AI?” on the jam submission, reads: “Code, art and sound: written, generated and tuned with Claude Code (Anthropic), directed and playtested by the developer.” It adds that the paintings, icons and wordmark are procedural vector art generated by code, and that the soundtrack and sound effects are synthesised by code, composed after a reference track the developer made with Suno, which does not ship in the game. The disclosure gives no share of AI-written code and names no model.

Made in Unity 6 for Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 3 (submissions 30 Oct to 6 Nov 2026; theme Great Works of Art, restriction No Text), a jam whose defining rule is that AI must do real work somewhere in the build. Per the credits and AI disclosure, the developer designed, directed and playtested the game, and Claude Code wrote the code and generated and tuned the art and sound. The three paintings are reimagined as patchwork collages drawn by code after public-domain originals, and the music and sound effects are synthesised in code.

“Code, art and sound: written, generated and tuned with Claude Code (Anthropic), directed and playtested by the developer.”Verification notes: AI use from the AI disclosure on the itch.io page and the identical answer on the game's Jamference: AI Game Jam Hack 3 submission page, both read on 6 Nov 2026. The disclosure opens with “This game was made with AI assistance” and then says the code, art and sound were written, generated and tuned with Claude Code, directed and playtested by the developer; it gives no share of AI-written code, so none is recorded. Its last sentence, on the Suno reference track, is followed by a bracketed note, “(Owner: confirm this is accurate.)”, which reads like a draft left for the developer to check; the note sits under the music paragraph, not the code line. The credits list the developer for game design, direction and “the original music track”; the disclosure says the in-game music is synthesised in code after the developer's reference track made with Suno. Publication (1 Nov 2026, 23:59 UTC), the HTML5 platform, Unity 6 and the itch.io AI disclosure (AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds) from the itch.io page. The submission page names one team member. Jam submissions were open until 6 Nov 2026 and rating had not started, so no placement exists. The jam's rule that AI must be part of the build is not code-specific. A check of the build's Unity framework, WebAssembly and game data files found no calls to AI services. The game was not played.
