About Pile-Up Party

Pile-Up Party is a free 3D party game for the browser about causing the biggest traffic pile-up you can. Up to four players take turns driving into a junction full of traffic; before each run everyone drafts obstacles, bonuses and a target vehicle and places them around the junction, and hitting another player's items pays that player while hitting your own costs you. Every car that piles in pays cash, a SmashBreaker meter fills with damage and lets you blow up your wreck and keep steering it, an event wheel can bring snow, night, wind, a traffic jam or a UFO, and the round's cash ranking scores points toward the match. On 6 Nov 2026 the official site offered seven maps (among them a roundabout, a harbour and a hairpin pass), five cars, computer opponents in three difficulties, pass-and-play on one computer, and online rooms joined with a six-digit code; its lobby notes that for now an online match runs on the host's screen. The site's credits call it a party game inspired by Burnout's Crash Mode. The developer, Floh2802, writes that the game was made with AI because they have absolutely zero idea how to code, and the site's credits say it was made by Floh2802 with Claude; the vehicles, buildings and most sounds are Kenney's CC0 assets and the music is credited to the developer. Free in the browser on pile-up.party and itch.io, still in development.

How it was built

The itch.io page: “This was made with AI because I have absolutely zero idea how to code.” The credits screen on the official site says “Made by Floh2802, with Claude.” Neither source says which Claude interface (chat app or Claude Code) or model was used. The vehicles, buildings, props, skies, sound effects, voices and jingles are credited to Kenney (CC0), some crash, glass, explosion, tyre and money sounds to freesound.org contributors picked by the developer, and the music to the developer. The itch.io AI disclosure ticks Code, Graphics, Sounds and Text.

Development approach

Per the developer, the game was made with AI because they cannot code, and the site's credits name Claude. It is built on three.js with cannon.js physics, and online play uses PeerJS, all credited as MIT-licensed; the code is split into JavaScript modules (observed). 3D assets and most sounds come from Kenney's CC0 packs, and the developer picked extra sounds from freesound.org and made the music. The game includes a debug panel and a medal-calibration mode.

Verification notes: AI use, gameplay and status from the developer's itch.io page (published 15 Oct 2026, 11:08 UTC; updated 31 Oct 2026, 22:02 UTC; status In development; HTML5; genres Racing and Puzzle; tags include Fangame; AI disclosure ticks AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds and Text); maps, rules, modes and credits from the official site pile-up.party (version 0.31.0), both re-read on 6 Nov 2026. The itch.io page says each player can play online on their own screen, while the site's online lobby says that for now the match runs on the host's screen and that drafting, placing and driving on your own screen arrive in later versions; the description follows the site. The site's credits call it “a party game inspired by Burnout's Crash Mode” and its structured data “Burnout-inspired”; apart from naming Burnout as the inspiration, the game uses its own names and Kenney's CC0 assets, and we found no Burnout assets in it, so no IP notice is recorded. The “AI opponents” are computer-controlled cars: the site's scripts (33 modules) and the itch.io build make no calls to AI services. Team size and location are not stated. We did not play the game.
