About Space Loop
A 3D space roguelite in the browser. You pilot a ship through procedural solar systems in Sector 42, blasting asteroids and alien convoys; the ship fires on its own as soon as an enemy enters your aura, so you concentrate on flying (ZQSD, WASD or the arrow keys). Approaching a planet puts you in orbit, where, depending on the planet, you can trade, scan it or upgrade the ship, and black holes and the pulsar are one-way trips. Coloured modules can be fused to upgrade the ship across runs. The game's Info panel calls it a work-in-progress prototype whose saves may be reset when the version changes, and says it was “developed 99% via vibe coding with the AI Claude”. It was made for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026, whose rules required at least 90% of each game's code to be written by AI; the official submission lists Claude Code as the tool, and it finished 208th of 945 entries. Free in the browser, in French (default), English, Spanish, German and Simplified Chinese.
How it was built
Partially verifiedIn the official Vibe Jam 2026 submission the entrant lists Claude Code as the tool and answers Yes to the AI-written field. The game's Info panel says, in all five interface languages, that the game “was developed 99% via vibe coding with the AI Claude”. No devlog describes how Claude Code was used or which model.

- OfficialJam rule 3: at least 90% of the code has to be written by AI. — Vibe Jam (Pieter Levels)
Built for the Cursor Vibe Jam 2026 with Claude Code named as the tool. The game uses Three.js for the 3D scenes and Vue for the interface (both ship as separate script bundles), with interface text in five languages. The developer writes that a friend forwarded the jam challenge and they got hooked.

“It was developed 99% via vibe coding with the AI Claude.”Verification notes: Tool (Claude Code), engine (ThreeJS), genre (Action, Adventure, Shooter, RPG, Roguelite), pitch, inspiration and the multiplayer (No), mobile (Yes) and portal (Yes) flags from the entrant's answers in the official Vibe Jam 2026 games data (submitted 26 Apr 2026, 20:45 UTC; final rank 208 of 945 entries, no award), re-read on 5 Nov 2026; rule 3 on the jam page requires at least 90% AI-written code. The “99% via vibe coding” figure is the developer's wording for development as a whole, so it is not recorded as an AI code share. The entrant names Asteroids on the Atari as the game that inspired the feeling they wanted; that is the entrant's comparison. Controls, orbit actions, prototype notice and the five interface languages from the game's script on 5 Nov 2026; the game was not played. Developer: the page's structured data names Cédric Bourgeois as author and the Info panel links x.com/libcedric (the entrant) and the LinkedIn of Cédric Bourgeois; no location or team size is given. The game's code was checked for calls to AI services and none were found. The jam page's widget counters showed 317 plays and 194 portal transfers for spaceloop.fr on 5 Nov 2026 (observed; plays are sessions, not players or downloads, so neither is recorded as a metric). The release date is not stated; the jam submission is dated 26 Apr 2026.
