About Stockiller: Part-Time
Stockiller: Part-Time is a short arcade action game in HD-2D-style pixel art. You are the Liquidator of Dead Stock Disposal Co., hired at night to make unsold overstock disappear. Each contract is a new procedurally generated site on a running clock: you sweep the flame along the shelves, burnt-out stock collapses into ash for cash, and burn-outs in a row build a chain. Make the quota before the sirens and you escape on a flaming chopper; miss it and the fire brigade busts you. Between shifts come the invoice and a shop, and during a shift you pick perk cards as you level up. The torch grows with every upgrade, and the shop sells fireballs, molotovs and StockaFlies (a jar of fire-flies that light stock elsewhere); chains charge the Stockanado, a fire tornado, and an order-picker truck with flamethrowers reaches the high racks. This free edition has the first three sites of Act I (Corner Kiosk, Minimart + Stockroom and Depot); the page announces a fuller Stockiller (Full-Time) for Steam in November 2026. Progress saves in the browser after every shift. It plays with keyboard and mouse, best in fullscreen. The page says the game was made with Claude Code, and that the code, the pixel art (drawn in code), the sound effects and the music (procedural synths) are all AI-generated in code, with design direction, playtesting and editing by Thomas Geelens. Free in the browser on itch.io; it was entered in AI Browser Game Jam 5.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe itch.io page, under “How it was made (AI usage)”, says the game was made with Claude Code (Anthropic) and that the code, the pixel art (procedural, drawn in code), the sound effects and the music (procedural synths) are all AI-generated in code; design direction, playtesting and editing are credited to Thomas Geelens. The credits read “A game by Thomas Geelens (Lift Hill Studio), built with Claude Code (Anthropic)”. The AI Tools Used answer on the jam submission names Claude Code. Which model was used is not stated.
- DeveloperAI Browser Game Jam 5 submission, AI Tools Used: “Claude Code”. — itch.io (AI Browser Game Jam 5, hosted by Focaccai)
Made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 (theme: Torch). Claude Code generated the JavaScript game, the procedural pixel art, the sound effects and the procedurally synthesized music in code, while Thomas Geelens handled design direction, playtesting and editing, per the page. The credits name the Luminati (Lumina) engine by Time_Talk (an open-source GitLab project) and three.js (MIT License) as the base, the Jersey 10, Jersey 15 and Tiny5 fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1), and a sprite normal-map technique from Hugo Duprez's Sprite Fusion Sprite Normals (MIT License). A 3 Nov 2026 update reworked aiming and added a click-to-toggle torch option for trackpad players after jam feedback.

“The code, the pixel art (procedural, drawn in code), the sound effects and the music (procedural synths) are all AI-generated in code.”Verification notes: Gameplay, controls, credits and AI use from the developer's itch.io page (published 22 Oct 2026, 04:16 UTC; updated 3 Nov 2026, 14:50 UTC; status Released; HTML5; genre Action) and the AI Tools Used answer on the official AI Browser Game Jam 5 submission page, both re-read on 5 Nov 2026. The page says the code is all AI-generated with Claude Code but gives no share, so no AI code share is recorded. The developer is recorded under the name in the credits (“A game by Thomas Geelens (Lift Hill Studio)”); team size is not stated, so the game is not tagged as a solo project. The Luminati engine and three.js are named in the credits and were also seen in the browser build (observed); the engine's GitLab page shows an MIT licence (observed). The planned Steam version (Stockiller (Full-Time), November 2026) is only announced on the page; no Steam listing was checked or recorded. The game's JavaScript makes no calls to AI services. Submissions closed on 31 Oct 2026 and voting runs until 7 Nov 2026, 04:00 UTC, so no placement is recorded; on 5 Nov the submission page showed 3 jam ratings (observed; jam votes, not players or reviews, so not recorded as a metric). itch.io shows no public rating and no download count. The game was not played.

Officialitch.io (Focaccai)Update after jam feedback: the aim stays where you point it, the flame can be tilted with Shift, the aim ring is easier to see and a click-to-toggle torch setting is added for trackpads.
