vfpv
Fly an FPV racing drone low and fast with nothing but vim keys, through procedural canyons, a tunnel and real terrain around Mt. Fuji and the Itsukushima Shrine torii. The README says the game was designed and implemented entirely by Claude.

About vfpv
vfpv is a free drone game about low-altitude, high-speed FPV (first-person view) flight. On a PC or in the browser you steer only with vim-style keys: h and l yaw, j and k pitch, capital letters turn sharply, Space boosts, typing a number before g sets the speed, and a : command line switches stages, cameras, render quality and audio. Turning on :god (bounce off terrain instead of crashing) and :auto (automatic obstacle avoidance) together lets it, in the developer's words, practically fly itself. The stages are an endless procedural terrain with three biomes, a dense city with narrow streets, a canyon, and an endless tube tunnel with up to five rival aircraft flying ahead. Four real-world stages download elevation data while you play (from Japan's Geospatial Information Authority for Mt. Fuji and Miyajima, and AWS Terrain Tiles for the Golden Gate Bridge and Tower Bridge) and place to-scale landmarks built from simple shapes at their real coordinates, with the sun at its real position for the place and season; on the Miyajima stage you can fly under the Itsukushima Shrine's great torii at a winter-solstice sunset. Effects such as a wider field of view, motion blur and speed lines grow with speed. An Android version, installed from an APK on GitHub, is flown by tilting the phone and dragging for altitude. The README of the developer's repository says the game was designed and implemented entirely by Claude from the developer's idea, shaped through hands-on testing and detailed feedback. Free in the browser on itch.io, with source code on GitHub.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe README's “About this project” section says the game was designed and implemented entirely by Claude, with the human providing the idea, and that it was not a one-shot output: the developer shaped it through hands-on testing and iterative, detail-oriented feedback. The developer's Zenn article (Japanese) says all the patakuti tools presented in the article were implemented by Claude, that the article's technical explanations partly repeat what Claude said, and that Claude proposed the candidate real-world locations from which the four stages were chosen. Neither source names a Claude product or model.

- Developeritch.io AI disclosure: AI Assisted, Code. — itch.io
Idea, testing and feedback from the developer; design and implementation by Claude, per the README. The Zenn article traces how the game grew: it began as a tool for getting a taste of FPV drone flight on a PC with vi keys, with only the Terrain and City stages; the Canyon stage came next, then an Android version with tilt controls, then the Tube stage, and finally the real-world stages. Of the candidate locations Claude proposed, Mt. Aso, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Eiffel Tower were dropped (not recognisable at a glance, an Opera House roof that did not come out right, and doubts that the Seine could be read from elevation data). The real-world stages download elevation tiles at runtime and build landmarks from primitives using OpenStreetMap coordinates and published dimensions; the sun is placed with NOAA solar-position formulas. The background music is “Future Travel” by Zodik (CC-BY 3.0); sound effects are generated at runtime. The repository's project files are Godot scenes, GDScript and shaders; no licence file was found.

“This tool was designed and implemented entirely by Claude. The human provided the idea.”Verification notes: AI use from the README of the patakuti/vfpv repository (read on 4 Nov 2026) and the developer's Zenn article (26 Sep 2026), which links both the itch.io page and the repository; the itch.io page links the repository and ticks AI Assisted and Code in its AI disclosure. Controls, stages and data sources from the README and the itch.io page. itch.io shows no publication date, so the release date is unknown; the game was public by the date of the Zenn article. The GitHub Releases page and the Android APK were not opened, and no licence file was found in the repository (LICENSE returned 404), so the licence is unknown. The real-world stages fetch elevation data from GSI and AWS Terrain Tiles while playing; no calls to AI services are described. The real landmarks are modelled from public coordinates and dimensions and are not third-party game IP, so no IP notice is attached. Team size and location are not stated. The game was not played.
Development history
The developer publishes a Zenn article presenting the four real-world stages (Mt. Fuji, Miyajima, Golden Gate Bridge, Tower Bridge) and linking the browser build on itch.io.
