About コマンドコレクションRPG
コマンドコレクションRPG (Command Collection RPG) is a free, Japanese-language dark-fantasy RPG in the browser built around collecting battle commands. You start with only “Fight” (たたかう); every enemy can drop a command it uses, including basics such as “Run” (にげる), and you slot up to six of them per character, merge duplicates to raise them to +5 or beyond and sell the rest. Commands work as weapons, carry physical or magical elements, and bosses drop their own unique commands and accessories. You explore top-down pixel-art maps under a fog that lifts in the direction you face, rest and warp at bonfires, travel in a party of up to three and fight random encounters in side-view command battles with an auto-battle option. A torch switches each map between a hostile “裏世界” and a peaceful “理想世界” with the same layout, where there are no enemies but there are people, requests, lore books, hints at boss weaknesses and switches that open the way in the other world, and finished games can be replayed with carried-over commands. The developer, the game-weapon commentator 武器屋アルフレッド, says in a note.com article that as a complete game-making amateur they made and published it in six hours using only Claude Code, with all graphics, UI, music and sound made in code and no outside assets, and that everything except the main story was generated by AI. Free on itch.io since 9 Oct 2026; it plays with keyboard or touch.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe developer's note lists among the game's features “完全にClaude Codeのプログラムのみで6時間で制作” (made in six hours entirely with Claude Code's programming) and “メインストーリー以外は全てAIによる生成” (everything other than the main story generated by AI). The only tool used was Claude Code: illustrations, UI and music were all made by the program, with no outside assets. The developer decided only the core idea of collecting commands, wrote prompts that grew into a long specification while playing each build, and wrote the main story and enemy settings while Claude Code was coding. The three party characters were turned into pixel art from illustrations the developer supplied, and names were picked by the developer from a list Claude made. Claude Code also proposed and built features unprompted, debugged without being asked, chose the title 「灰の巡礼」 for one early version, suggested itch.io and exported the build for it. The developer puts the cost at a few thousand yen.
A six-hour, self-imposed time limit; to fit it, the developer avoided 3D assets and chose a genre that Claude Code could finish in code alone. A first prompt described a Wizardry-like dungeon crawler built on collecting commands; the developer then asked for a top-down, Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest-like look with a dark-fantasy, FromSoftware-style mood, and the note reproduces the full list of change requests given while playing, which cite Elden Ring's exploration mood and Diablo IV's menu UI as references. Music and sound effects are made in code. The published game is a single HTML file drawn on canvas with Web Audio sound and saves in the browser.

“完全にClaude Codeのプログラムのみで6時間で制作”Verification notes: The AI claim, the six-hour build, the prompts and the split of work come from the developer's note.com article of 9 Oct 2026 (17:01 JST), re-read on 4 Nov 2026, which links the itch.io page. The itch.io page has no description; it shows Published 9 Oct 2026, 06:52 UTC, status Released, HTML5. Game features were checked against the game's own HTML on 4 Nov 2026 (title コマンドコレクションRPG, Japanese text, canvas graphics, Web Audio, a browser save and smartphone controls in the help text); the note's long specification is a list of requests and was not checked feature by feature, and the game was not played to the end. The note says Claude Code titled one early version 「灰の巡礼」; the published game and page use コマンドコレクションRPG, so that name is not recorded as an alternative title. The developer's comparisons to Wizardry, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, FromSoftware games, Elden Ring and Diablo IV describe the brief only; no names or assets from those games were found in the game, so no IP notice is recorded. The game's HTML contains no calls to AI services. Team size and location are not stated. The English gloss of the title is ours. itch.io shows no rating and no download counts.
