About Bloom Hop
Bloom Hop is a free puzzle game for the browser in which you guide a frog across a lily pond. Every pad holds a fly, and every pad can take only so many hops before it sinks behind you, so the puzzle is planning a route that eats every fly. Beetles sit on pads you need and can be flicked to the next pad with your tongue, turtles act as stepping stones but dive on a rhythm, and koi leap out with gifts: a Mend Leaf that patches your pad or a Gold Feather for one long leap. Clearing a pond makes lotus flowers open across it while the frog dances. There are twelve puzzles across three areas (Morning Pond, Sunset Marsh and Moonlit Lagoon); finishing level 8 unlocks Wild Pond, 150 further ponds that grow trickier and then return mirrored and rotated. There is no game over, only unlimited undo, a retry key and hints, and winning a pond without a hint earns a gold flower. It plays with the keyboard, mouse, taps or swipes, saves progress in the browser and can be installed from the browser menu. The developer, zeveck, writes that the whole game, including the design, the 162 levels, the art, animation, music, sound effects and every line of code, was made by Claude Code with gamegen, a Claude Code plugin under the same GitHub account, from one prompt with no other instructions. The source code is on GitHub under the MIT licence.
How it was built
Partially verifiedThe README says the whole game was made by Claude Code with gamegen, a Claude Code plugin (github.com/zeveck/gamegen, under the same account) that turns an idea into a finished game, and that the design, the 162 levels, the art, the animation, the music, the sound effects and every line of code came from one /gg:gamegen command, which it quotes in full, with no other instructions, no hand-drawn art and no hand-written code. It describes gamegen writing a design, having reviewer agents (a player, a builder and an art director) critique it over two rounds, generating the art and audio, building the game, play-testing every level at desktop and phone sizes, and having a fresh playtester and a bug hunter check the result. gamegen's companion plugins use other generators: imagegen2 drew the frog, pads, creatures, flowers, power-ups and app icon with OpenAI's GPT Image; nanogen painted the pond backgrounds with Google's Gemini (Nano Banana); anim8gen turned the frog into sprite animations through imagegen2; audiogen made the music and sound effects with ElevenLabs.

A plain web page with no build step: JavaScript modules drawing to a canvas, with the Fredoka font (SIL Open Font License). The levels come from a generator that walks the frog through each pond so a winning route always exists, and a script in the repository re-checks all 162 ponds with a solver. Sprites are GPT Image pictures made through the imagegen2 plugin and animated through anim8gen, the three pond backgrounds are Gemini (Nano Banana) paintings made through nanogen, and the music and sound effects are ElevenLabs audio made through audiogen. The README states that all of this, including every line of code, was produced by Claude Code through the developer's gamegen plugin.

Verification notes: AI use, the full prompt, the asset generators, levels, gameplay, controls and the licence come from the repository README (zeveck/bloom-hop), re-read on 6 Nov 2026. The AI code share of 100% is our reading of the README's “every line of code came from this one command” and “no hand-written code”; no percentage is given. The game page (title “Bloom Hop: a cozy frog puzzle on a lily pond”) links the repository and synapticnoise.com, which lists the game among other browser games. The game's scripts load only local files; we found no calls to AI services (checked 6 Nov 2026). The developer is known only by the handle zeveck (the same account as Porchlight); synapticnoise.com names no person, and no team size or location is given. The repository's first commit is dated 23 Oct 2026 (UTC); the public release date is not stated. The game was not played through.
