About Kitchen Siege
Kitchen Siege is a free co-op first-person shooter for the browser in which up to four chefs defend a kitchen for ten rounds. Before each wave there is a buy phase; during it, enemies drop groceries that you cook into dishes that heal the team, revive downed teammates, refill ammunition or boost damage, but food burns, so someone always has to leave the fight and run back to the stove. Round 10 brings the Head Chef boss. Empty seats are filled by computer-controlled teammates that go through the same inputs as human players, with reaction time, aim jitter and line of sight. There are 7 maps, 10 weapons, 10 dishes and 5 enemy types, private rooms joined with a code, a daily map, and a Versus mode with ranked tiers in which up to four players take the enemy side against the chefs; Versus needs a Google sign-in. Outfits, aprons and skins can be bought with points earned in play, and some cosmetic items with real money. The developer, posting as u/GabrielNunes12, says Claude built the whole game, code, 3D models, sound and deployment: Opus 5.5 drafted implementation plans that the developer reviewed, and Sonnet 5 implemented them in Claude Code. The game is published under the MentorHub Gaming name.
How it was built
Partially verifiedIn a post on r/threejs (25 Sep 2026, UTC) titled “I made a game using Claude (whole game) Sonnet 5 & Opus 5.5”, the developer writes: “Claude built the whole thing: code, 3D models, sound and deployment. I used Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5 in Claude Code.” Opus 5.5 drafted implementation plans, which the developer reviewed, and Sonnet 5 implemented them. Several Claude Code agents worked in parallel on the server, the lobby, the client and the 3D models; a custom subagent (a “blender-artist”) writes Blender Python scripts that build the models headless and looks at a rendered preview of each before calling it done. The developer describes their own role as more like a lead: deciding how the game should feel, testing it and saying “no, not like this” a lot.
About 14,000 lines of TypeScript: a three.js client, an authoritative Node and Socket.io server, and a shared simulation package used by both, per the post. All 81 low-poly models are generated by Blender Python scripts that run headless and rebuild the art set in about 15 seconds; there are no audio files, as every sound and the adaptive music are synthesised live with WebAudio. Balance was tuned with headless bot-only matches across every map and several seeds. The backend has Google sign-in, profiles and match history (SQLite locally, Postgres in production), with servers in São Paulo and Paris.

“Claude built the whole thing: code, 3D models, sound and deployment.”Verification notes: AI use, the workflow and the technical details come from the developer's post on r/threejs by u/GabrielNunes12 (25 Sep 2026, 23:42 UTC), read from the Arctic Shift Reddit archive on 6 Nov 2026; it links the game. The 100% AI code share reflects “Claude built the whole thing: code, 3D models, sound and deployment.” Modes, controls, the Locker and the MentorHub Gaming branding come from the game page, read on 6 Nov 2026; its script contains a store with points prices and real-money prices for cosmetic items, so pricing is recorded as free-to-play. The computer-controlled teammates are scripted game logic, not generative AI, and the script contacts only the game's own API, its Socket.io server and Google sign-in, not AI services. The developer's name is not given beyond the Reddit handle, and team size is not stated. No release date is given; the game was public by 25 Sep 2026. The game was not played.
