About Blueprint Job

Blueprint Job is a free heist-planning game set in the 1960s that plays in the browser, on desktop or as an app added to a phone's home screen. Each job starts on the blueprint of a target building, such as a manor, a casino count room, a station or a ship: you plan what each member of your crew does second by second on a schedule timeline, which you can scrub through, with waits so one crew member holds for another, while guards, dogs, keepers and alarms follow their own routines and the crew's noise is measured as you go. Then you go live and watch the plan play out at one, two or four times speed, aborting and re-planning when it goes wrong; the cash you keep carries over to the next job. The developer, posting as u/Asleep-Carpet9030 on r/aigamedev, says they had wanted to make a heist game in the spirit of The Sting!, which they played as a child (only ever the demo), and describes it as their own version, designed over about three weeks of spare time. Development runs through Claude Code with Opus 5.5: the developer controls the session from the Claude mobile app, Claude Code pushes and deploys the game, and the developer tests it on a phone and gives feedback. Free; still being extended with new jobs. In English.

How it was built

Partially verified

The developer's post on r/aigamedev (1 Nov 2026, UTC) is titled “Blueprint Job: a 1960s heist planner I built using Opus 5.5 with Claude mobile app” and describes the workflow: enable /remote-control in a Claude Code session on the developer's Mac; give Claude GitHub and PromptShip permissions so it can push and deploy the game; test it as a Progressive Web App on a phone; give feedback to Claude Code, which deploys to a development build for checking; then deploy to production and repeat. The developer says the game started as a very basic version and each iteration improved the 3D design, performance, job levels and consistency. An earlier post (17 Oct 2026) says development with Opus 5.5 started the week before. The developer does not state a share of AI-written code.

Supporting evidence
Development approach

Developed through a Claude Code session on the developer's Mac, controlled remotely from the Claude mobile app; Claude Code pushes to GitHub and deploys to PromptShip, and the developer tests each build on a phone as a Progressive Web App, per the Reddit post. The game page loads three.js 0.159 (observed). The developer says the characters and each heist job were designed over about three weeks of spare time.

Verification notes: AI use and the workflow come from the developer's posts on r/aigamedev by u/Asleep-Carpet9030 (17 Oct 2026, 14:31 UTC, and 1 Nov 2026, 15:23 UTC), read from the Arctic Shift Reddit archive on 5 Nov 2026; both link the game. The posts describe Claude Code (with Opus 5.5) writing, pushing and deploying the game from the developer's feedback, but give no explicit share of AI-written code, so the evidence is medium. The October post is titled “Opus 5.5 allowed me to recreate a game from childhood” and calls the game the developer's own version of The Sting!; we found no names, characters or assets from The Sting! in the game's text and code (its jobs, places and characters are its own), so it is treated as an original game inspired by it. The game is hosted on promptship.dev, an agent deployment service that the developer links in the post; no source shows a business tie between the developer and PromptShip. Gameplay is described from the game page and its interface text, which loaded on 5 Nov 2026; the scripts make no calls to AI services. No release date is given; the game was public by 17 Oct 2026. The posts had scores of 17 and 6 on Arctic Shift (observed; not metrics). Team size and location are not stated. The game was not played.

Development history

  1. First shared on r/aigamedev with a playable link; the developer says development with Opus 5.5 began the week before.

  2. Second post describes the Claude Code remote-control workflow after about three weeks of spare-time development.
